CueMed: Elevate Your Health

medicine-pills-on-a-spoon.jpg

Overview

A freelance user experience consulting engagement for a startup company in the health technology sector. CueMed is trying to break into the competitive marketplace of pill reminder apps for mobile devices. They recently pivoted to focus specifically on treatment of hypertension and hired a UX designer to create a prototype. CueMed engaged me to evaluate and test that prototype. I was responsible for user research and analytics, and also worked in collaboration with interaction designer Erika Spoden and visual designer Brooke Stopherd to develop a new prototype.

Seattle Symphony: Listen Boldly

Overview

A 2-week design challenge to update the Seattle Symphony's Listen Boldly mobile app. The existing version of the app has usability problems that are particularly impactful on the Symphony's core demographic of older adults. For this project I was responsible for user research and information architecture and worked in collaboration with interaction designer Beatrice Roman.
